Follow the beat.
Most clubs songs generally follow the same beat--one-two-drum, one-two-snap.
You want to be in rhythm when dancing with her or she will likely lose interest.
Focus on your footwork.
This is just as important, if not more so, than the movement of your torso.
Make use of the heel and toe parts of your feet. Look bouncy and your body will
follow.
Mix up your moves.
As the songs change, do the same thing with your moves. Get down low. Put your
arms around different parts of her body (within reason, unless she suggests
otherwise). Incorporate hand gestures on occasion. Make yourself stand out and
she'll keep her interest in you.
Be confident.
If you appear stiff or uncomfortable, this will be a turn-off to her. Girls love
confidence. Remember that nobody is looking at you dancing. They are there to
have fun and enjoy themselves in the same way you are.
Accept rejection.
If your partner expresses that she is done dancing with you, however short it
may have been, accept it and move on. Remember that your chances of dancing
with another girl are best right after finishing your last dance.
